Mini Laptops Under 200 – Are They Any Good ?

So, by now you may be wondering are these cheap mini laptops really any good. The answer is a definite yes. But you must bear in mind that you will have to forgo some of the features that can only be found in conventional laptops. One such feature you will have to do without is an optical drive. An optical drive is just a disc drive that holds a DVD or CD. What this boils down to is you will not be able to buy software over the counter and install it on your mini laptop unless you go thru the extra expense of purchasing an external disc drive available as an option from most manufacturers.

For a lot of people buying an external disk drive is not an issue. These types of games are too graphic intensive for these little mobile computers and require a lot more hard drive space than these tiny laptops can provide.  Furthermore, mini laptops are not equipped (nor can be equipped)  with high end graphics cards to run demanding graphics programs such as the latest games or movie making software.

So, what are these cheap mini laptops good for? They are perfect for surfing the web and for traveling. While away from home or the office you can still keep in touch with family, friends, colleagues and clients. With the built in wi-fi feature you will be able to connect almost anywhere to the internet because networks are all over the country. This is a great feature to have because you will always be on top of your business even when you don’t have access to your desktop. In addition to this great feature mini laptops also come with built in web cameras. Now, friends and loved ones can video chat face to face with each other instead of just sending plain emails or text messages.

As you can see buying cheap mini laptops under 200 dollars do have their advantages. For the college student who is barely able to make ends meet  they are highly recommended.
